We leven in een tijd waarin we (te) veel zitten en waarin het tijd wordt dat we kritisch kijken naar ons eigen ‘beweeggedrag’ gedurende de dag.
Binnen SIMPLY.FIT schrijft Tim artikelen over de fysiologie van het menselijk lichaam. Hormonen zijn signaalstofjes die in kleine hoeveelheden grote effecten kunnen hebben op allerlei processen in het menselijk lichaam. Ook bij het sporten spelen hormonen een belangrijke rol. Maar hoe werken ze eigenlijk en waarom doen ze dit?
In ons lichaam hebben we zelfs meer bacteriën wonen dan dat we eigen cellen hebben. Welk belangrijk werk doen deze bacteriën eigenlijk voor ons?
